01

Use soft, even light

Face a window or use a well-lit room. Avoid strong light from one side, direct flash and deep shadows across the face.

02

Frame the whole face

Keep the camera at eye level and include the forehead, cheeks, chin and jawline. Move hair away from the facial outline when comfortable.

03

Keep the image natural

Use a neutral expression, remove beauty filters and avoid portrait effects that blur texture. A clean lens helps preserve detail.

04

Review before submitting

Check that the image is sharp and clearly shows your face. Epiderm AI explains processing and asks for consent before submission. Use only your own image.
